As in, we need some vet help.
First - we changed his name to Oscar. Very happy to have that name. We love it. And he actually responds to Oscar, so we must be a little closer to whatever his name was before!
Second - help, people. This dog is a contortionist and has gotten AROUND his cone and bitten his stitches! His area is very angry looking. My husband is a PA and said he isn't worried. We had to get him a HUGE cone and it's too big around the neck, so we have to tie it to his collar.. He can barely lift his head! lol. He only has to wear it when he's kenneled at night and when we are gone.
We see the vet in the morning at 9:00. Wish us luck. He hates his cone. I see LOTS of cone in his future. I pray to the good Lord above that he doesn't have to get put under and restitched and that his heartworm comes back negative. Then, I think I'll really feel like I can relax.
Poor Oscar. He's had a hard go of it so far. I hope he gains some weight. It's strange to think he needs to gain Frankie! She's 7 lbs!

Hi Frankie & Oscar
Maybe some benadryl to stop the itching. The vet recommended it to us for Ruby's allergies & when her spay stitches were itching her. Her stich line was red & angry looking with blisters.
Sending rayz for a negative HW test & that his stitches will heal.
Love Ruby & Penny
Hi Frankie Mae and OSCAR. You won't believe this one. My full name is Frankie OSCAR Furter!!!
I completely agree with Ruby and Penny. benadryl will make "it" feel better.
I also hope the HW comes back neg..
Maybe OSCAR has the other kind of worms. Steal some poop and take it with you.
I am sure once this Tutoring thingy gets healed up.. Oscar and Frankie are going to be bestest furends.
Keep us all posted.
aw poor pup! love the new name!
hugs,

Hi Frankie Mae and Oscar,
I like the name Oscar. Good luck tomorrow at the vet. How about asking the vet if Ocsar could use a belly band until his stiches, if he has to have new stiches, come out. Aunt Judy makes them for DROH and I could get one for you.

Hello there!
Sorry it's been soooo long! Oscar is an adorable name and what a sweet boy he is.
The hard cone is what we have used as well. We tried others and they just didn't work. The cone will be off in no time though. Hang in there!
Congrats on your new pup!
Lots of Luv & Kisses

The health issue, will be resolved, rest assured. Now, to the HELP you asked for. I think ya need a psychologist instead. Are you planning on changing the name back to Charlie again? Is he going to remain Oscar? What if you change your mind tomorrow? See, not a vet. BOL
Twink!
Hi Oscar, we hope you feel better soon!
