Oscar here.

Hello, all. It's Oscar here. Frankie said I should just write about my day, so here it goes.

I ate this morning and it was so very good. It's nice not to be hungry all of the time - although I do want to eat much more than I am given! After a brief nap, I was hauled to the vet.

This is where my day takes an ugly turn.

I was supposed to get one shot. This turned into a visit with the doctor, a temperature taking (a-hem! excuse me back there! We have only just met!), TWO shots, and then I heard my mom mention that I was seen scooting across the gravel outside. This comment got me put into a very awkward position indeed! There was some squeezing back there that I did not appreciate, although I do feel much better now. I'm not going to let my mom know that, though!

Also, my family was gone a lot today. Not for long periods of time, but in and out. I hate to be alone and I am much happier when I'm in the kennel with Dixie if they aren't here. She's very cuddly. They say she's 12 years old, which explains why she just lays down and sleeps all the time.

I am hopeful that tomorrow will be a little better. But even the worst of days are still great in my new forever home!

See ya!
Oscar

Yikes, Oscar. A tough day indeed. Hey, you know what one of my nicknames is? Scooter. I bet you know why.
Twink!

Wooohooo Look at you Oscar. Your FUR-GIN post!!! I am very much proud of your blogging skill!!
Oh, sooooo sorry about that VET thingy. Those quirkie two leggers have a "thing" with our butts.
Sorry you had to have TWO shots. OUCH. PeeS You shouldn't let 'em catch you butt scooting. They get all bent out of shape about that, on so many levels.
Say hi to Frankie Mae for me.

Wow Oscar,

We feel really bad that you had to go through all that today . They need to make a different kind of thermometer! We hate those things!
